Elles Bailey Premieres Her Video for ‘Sunshine City, Live at The Pool’, as She Exuberantly Takes to The Road Once More, with Summer Festival Appearances in the UK & Beyond

True to form, Bristol-based, Ever-hardworking, live touring, multi-award-winning Elles Bailey continues to ride the blacktop and call the road her home. She’s just finished her 18-date UK headline tour, a support tour with roots rockers ‘Kitty Daisy and Lewis’ in Germany and is raring to perform at festivals with her band in the UK, in Nashville TN, and further afield in Europe over the Summer. First off though she opens for Lukas Nelson and The Promise of the Real at the 02 Kentish Town tonight (15th June)!

‘I am a huge Lukas Nelson fan so to be given this chance to open the show at such an iconic venue is pretty darn exciting!’

To celebrate her new round of touring and festival appearances, Elles is releasing her brand-new video of ‘Sunshine in the City’, the fourth single from her hit album ‘Shining in the Half Light Deluxe Edition’, filmed at Pool Studios.

Elles herself says, “We rolled off our epic headline tour — which was by far my most successful to date — straight into festival season, and the band are sounding the best we have ever sounded. I am so looking forward to playing each and every festival stage I’m booked for this summer.

“I’m not gonna lie,” she adds, “it’s feeling pretty great to be heading back to Black Deer Festival alongside some of my most favourite artists, like Bonnie Raitt, then later on in the summer, I’ll be heading up to headline The Great British R&B festival, at Colne in Lancashire, which was the first ever festival to offer me a slot, so to be going back and headlining means everything!

“There are also tons of (new to me) festivals stages to grace like the inaugural Maid of Stone fest, Underneath the Stars fest, Linton Fest, Berry Bank Blues Fest, Greenbelt. and Shrewsbury Folk Fest. Plus a few select festivals abroad including playing AmericanaFest Nashville ! Yes, this summer is looking mighty fine indeed!”

Reviewing Elles’ recent headline slot at the Loverocks classic rock and blues boutique music festival near Bournemouth, Dorset, Gary Spiller of Metal Planet Music praised Elles for her track record of awards earned this year and for how that translates into her always-100%-committed live performances.

“Going one better than her double scoop at January’s UK Americana Awards,” said Gary, “tonight’s headliner Elles Bailey swooped for a hat-trick of thoroughly deserved accolades at April’s UK Blues Awards. This is, 100% certain, a musician that does – in line with the first line of set-opener ‘The Game’ – indeed dance to the beat of her own blues.”
